“Digital Abstraction” traces how artists generate abstraction with new resources. Abstract art mainly appears to be unrelated to the earth of appearances, however with the correct computer software, an impression on a display screen can be morphed from figurative to summary with the push of a critical. Tools such as autonomous systems create “generative art” and a variety of softwares use pixels as paint to generate new colour fields. Artists include Chris Dorland, Damage van den Dorpel, Andreas Gysin, Rachel de Joode, Yves Peitzner and Jelena Gregov, Aaron Scheer, Alida Sun, and Jennifer West.

This 1st NFT Trilogy surveys canonical themes in just art history—the body, mother nature, and abstraction—and how artists translate them to the NFT room.
