“It is said that Berlin is the centre of the Queer world – what better place to have a celebration of all things beautifully erotic in the gayest of ways,” says ToFF CXO S.R. Sharp.

The Festival is ToFF’s yearly programming effort to bring together artists, galleries and patrons from all over the globe in a socially friendly setting so that they can network as well as buy and sell works.

“My goal with the Art & Culture Festival is to pave the way for the next generation of Queer and erotic artists while expanding to more cities and communities around the world,” says Festival lead and ToFF Creative Director Richard Villani.

This year will see prideART Berlin at The Knast host the Festival for its first German iteration. Housed in a historic women’s prison, this is the first time prideART Berlin will participate in the Festival. Additional activations will occur in Berlin around the Festival.

“We are very excited to be hosting Tom of Finland Foundation here at prideART Berlin,” says prideArt Berlin Chairperson and Cofounder Aaron Holloway. “It’s a great opportunity to further develop international relationships within the erotic and fetish art community.”

This year’s events will bring together erotic artists, vendors, performers, DJs, and galleries. Berlin’s Festival will see artwork by Gerardo Vizmanos, Henning von Berg, Erling Viktor, Mike D’hondt, Fausto, Rinaldo Hopf, and Tom of Finland Emerging Artist Competition-winner Silver & Gelatin, amongst many more. Effenberger Couture will offer designs inspired by the individuality of Berlin’s infamous Queer party culture, including pieces from their recent Tom of Finland collaboration. Galleries curated by The Queer Archive and Berlin’s own The Ballery will also be exhibited.

The whole weekend starts Thursday evening 11th May with a kick-off party at Prinzknecht Men’s Bar beginning at 7p.

“We are so excited about venturing to Los Angeles’ sister city of Berlin. In some ways, we are sort of related. One major commonality is that both cities are filled with creative beings. We wish to open a satellite location where artists from America can come to discover Berlin,” says ToFF President & Cofounder Durk Dehner. “What we are bringing to you is an opportunity for all of us to get out and support our artists and our culture with this Festival.”
